Trade Unions hailed enhancing bonus limit

Ahmedabad, Oct 4 (UNI) Western Railway Mazdoor Sangh (WRMS) today hailed the decision of the Union cabinet for enhancing the ceiling limit of productivity linked bonus from Rs 2,500 to Rs 3,500.

General secretary of the WRMS J G Mahurkar said with the wage ceiling increased with effect from April 1, 2006 for payment of bonus to eligible employee, the railwaymen will also get the arrears difference of the previous year.

He also thanked the Railway Minister Lalu Prasad for declaring 73 days bonus to Railwaymen for 2007-08.

He also appealed the railwaymen to work hard to increase productivity and for better service to the customers.
