Temblor of 5.5 magnitude rocks Andaman
New Delhi, Oct 4 (UNI) A moderate quake, measuring 5.5 on the Richter Scale, rocked the Andaman Islands today.
According to the Meteorological Department here the temblor occured at 0250 hrs and the epicentre of the quake was 10.8 degree North Latitude and 91.7 degree East Longitude.
No loss of life or injuries was reported, it added.
