Six killed, one injured in accident

Shimla, Oct 4 (UNI) Six people were killed, including four children, and one injured when the car they were travelling in rolled down into Ravi river at Khadamukha of Bharmour subdivision in the wee hours today.

The car was on the way to Bharmour from Kangra when the driver lost control over the wheel and the vehicle rolled down into spated Ravi river at 0330 hrs killing six people on the spot.

The deceased were identified as Ashok (52), Kanchan Devi (32) and four children identified as Abhishek, Yogenshu, Jahnavi and Nandani.

The condition of the injured woman who was admitted to district hospital Chamba was stated to be critical.

The distirct adminstration has announced an immediate relief of Rs 10,000 to the next of kin of the deceased.
