Guv releases Open and Defence Series Maps

Shimla, Oct 4 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Governor Prabha Rau today released the Open Series Maps for civil use covering Himachal Pradesh at Rajbhawan.

The Governor also released the Defence Series Maps of the state for use by defence services. These maps have been brought out by Himachal Pradesh, Geo-spatial Data Centre of North Western Zone, Survey of India.

On this occasion Dr Prithvish Nag, Surveyor General of India, Maj Gen PN Kaul, Additional Surveyor General, North Western Zone and Maj Gen AK Padha, Additional Surveyor General, Himachal Pradesh, Geo-spatial Data Centre briefed about the Survey of India activities.
