Godhra train carnage accused dies in jail
Ahmedabad, Oct 4 (UNI) Sixtyfive-year-old Godhra train carnage accused Hussain Mohammad Dhobi, died in the Sabarmati Central Jail here today.
According to Jail authorities, Dhobi, who was ailing for quite some time, passed away at 0630 hrs. His death was natural. His body was taken to civil hospital here for post-mortem. It will be handed over to the family members later today.
He was arrested by police soon after the Godhra train carnage in February 2002, they added.
Hussain's family members alleged that he was never released on parole after he was arrested.
