Four gets life imprisonment in Palamu

Daltonganj, Oct 4 (UNI) A local court today handed down life imprisonment to four people in connection with the two-year old murder case in Jharkhand's Palamu district.

District sessions judge G K Verma awarded two year rigorous imprisonment to all the accused Rajeev Ranjan, Rajnish Ranjan, Prashant Kumar and Ganjhu Oraon for killing one Babban Singh of Redma area of the district on July 7, 2006.

According to prosecution the court also sentenced three years of imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 500 each.
