4 youth abducted for ransom
Morena (MP), Oct 4 (UNI) Four youth from Madhya Pradesh's Morena district were abducted while on a pilgrimage to Karoulimata temple in Rajasthan today and the kidnappers had sought a ransom of Rs 10 lakh for their release, officials said.
The family members of the kidnapped youth- Rinku Agrawal, Nemichandra Agrawal, Sonu Agrawal and Sobran Sharma- met Madhya Pradesh Minister for Panchayat and Rural Development Rustam Singh seeking the latter's help in getting them released.
Mr Singh told UNI that he had taken up the matter with State Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia and other senior police officers of Rajasthan.
The youth had set out on pilgrimage from Morena on Thursday and they spent last night at Madrail in Karouli district. A kidnapper, who identified himself as Mukesh dada, snatched their cell phone when the family members wanted to talk to them and conveyed about their ransom demand.
The relatives of the youth had already reached Madrail police station, Mr Singh added.
