VHP protest against permission to construct prayer hall

Hubli, Oct 3 (UNI) Hundreds of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) activists today staged a protest in front of the Hubli-Dharwad Corporation office for allowing construction of building for prayer to a particular community.

Urging the Corporation to withdraw the permission, the protesters submitted a memorandum to Commissioner Ajay Nagabhushan, demanding demolition of the under-construction building.
