Under trial prisoner escapes from court

Rourkela, Oct 03 (UNI) An under trial was escaped while being produced before a local court at Rajgangpur today.

Police said Md Salajdada arrested and lodged in the Rajgangopur jail on April 7,2008 in a theft case.

The police brought him from the jail to be produced before a local court here but he managed to give a slip from the court premises before he was produced in the court.

Soon after the incident, the police sealed all the exit points and launched a combing operation to nab the under trial prisoner.
