Under construction shopping mall caves in; Several trapped
Kolkata, Oct 3 (UNI) Several people were trapped when a portion of an under construction shopping mall caved in at Baguihati on VIP Road in North 24 Parganas district tonight.
Police here said many people were trapped under the building.
The exact number of casualty was yet to be ascertained, police added.
A team had been rushed to the spot to rescue the trapped, police informed and said the cause of the accident was not yet known.
However, unconfirmed sources said at least 24 people had been trapped under the building.
Details were awaited.
