Two women held, arms seized

Kohima, Oct 3 (UNI) The Kohima police today arrested two women from the Khuzama Check Gate near the Nagaland-Manipur inter-state border and seized two pistols and 13 rounds of live ammunition from their possession.

Official sources said police, during regular frisking of the buses coming from Manipur to Guwahati, recovered two 9 mm pistols and 13 rounds of live ammunition from two women passengers.

The arrested were reportedly from Nongdren Namang Lamlei village under Imphal East district of Manipur.

Police registered a case and investigation was on to verify their proper identity and apprehend the entire gang members from Manipur and Guwahati.
