Two people including a school student killed, in accident

Hisar, Oct 3 (UNI) Two people, including a school going girl, were killed while a teacher and a student sustained serious injuries, when the van in which they were going to school collided head-on with a truck on the NH-1 near Hansi in the district today.

According to police sources, two children, Pushpa and Amit, of a Sekhpura-based family along with a woman teacher, Himanshi, were going towards Hisar cantonment, when a truck coming from the opposite direction collided with their van.

In the accident, one of the children, Pushpa, and the driver of the van, Krishn, died on the spot while the teacher and the other child were seriously injured.

The driver of the truck immediately absconded from the spot after hitting the van. The police has registered a case against the driver.
