Srinagar, Oct 3 (UNI) The Radio Kashmir, Srinagar and Jammu and Kashmir bank have changed office timings on the onset of winter in the Kashmir valley.

An official of the Radio Kashmir, Srinagar, said the morning transmission will commence from 0655 hrs every morning during entire winter months instead of 0550 hrs during summer from Monday.

However, the evening transmission will end at 2310 hrs as usual after national news bulletion in English followed by local bulletin.

The Radio Kashmir has announced to introduce new programmes during winter.

A spokesman of the Jammu and Kashmir bank said there would now be no working on Sundays except in designated bank branches from tomorrow.

He said as per new timing, the non computerized branches shall have working hours from 1000 hrs to 1700 hrs, except on Saturdays, when they will remain open from 1000 hrs to 1400 hrs only.

However business hours in computerized branches shall be from 1000 hrs to 1600 hrs daily and 1000 hrs to 1300 hrs on Saturdays.
