Pondy to take decision on bonus to textile workers

Puducherry, Oct 3 (UNI) The Puducherry administration will take a decision on disbursing bonus to textile workers here in the next cabinet meeting on October 11, Chief Minister V Vaithilingam said today.

Talking to newspersons on the sidelines of the inauguration of an exhibition-cum-Deepavali sale at a cooperative show room 'Pontex' here, he said the cabinet meeting, scheduled to be held on October eight, was postponed to October 11.

To a question, he said the Co-optex was providing a discount of 30 per cent only on festival seasons while Pontex was providing 25 per cent discount throughout the year.
