One person killed and two injured when lightning stuck

Gulbarga, Oct 3 (UNI) One person died and two injured when lightning struck them at Karkalli village in Shahapur Taluk of the district today.

Police said Shivaprakash (25) and two others, who were working in their field, took shelter under a tree following rain, when lightning struck them. Shivaprakash died on the spot.

The injured were admitted to Shahapur Government hospital.
