NFIW to organise 'jatha' against communalism
Kannur, Oct 3 (UNI) The National Federation of Indian Women (NFIW), a pro-CPI women's organisation will organize a 'jatha' against communalism in November, NFIW General Secretary Aannie D Raja said today.
Addressing newspersons here, she said the date of the proposed 'jatha' would be finalised in the National Executive Meeting to be held in Delhi next week.
Expressing serious concern over the violence in Orissa, Ms Raja alleged that the BJP, RSS and VHP were behind it.
In Orissa, women were the targets of the attackers, she claimed and said the Centre has not taken any serious action in this regard.
