Karnataka CM accuses Centre for neglecting State
Shimgoa, Oct 3 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddiyurappa today alleged that the Centre was following discrimination while providing relief funds to the State.
Talking to newspersons here, Mr Yeddiyurappa said the State has submitted its proposals for relief funds to the Union Government, but till date there was no response.
Expressing concern over a series of bomb blasts in the State recently, he said Karnataka has become a safe haven for terrorists.
The Chief Minister said, to curb terrorism, the State Government would strengthen the Intelligence Department. The Department was informed that some terrorists were entering Mysore from Kerala, he added.
He said to avoid terrorist attacks in Mysore, the Government has strengthened the security in the region.
There was no attack on places of worship now and normacly was restored, he added.
