Four persons arrested on charges of murder

Gulbarga, Oct 3 (UNI) The Police claimed to have solved the mystery behind murder of Dr Mahaveer by arresting four persons at Yadgir in the district today.

Police said that Dr Mahaveer, a popular doctor in Yadgir was murdered on September 17. The accused allegedly tied his hands and thrown him into the water of Bhima river.

The arrested four persons, including brother-in-law of the deceased were produced them before the court.

Police said that Dr Mahaveer's wife was committed suicide by setting herself ablaze about three years ago. Her brother Dr Mallinadh in a retaliation to his sister's death, along with four four of his associates, allegedly kidnapped the Doctor and severely tortured before throwing him into the river Bhima.
