When Cilla Black jumped into Sir Cliff Richard's bed

London, Oct 3 : English singer-songwriter Cilla Black revealed at a recent lunch held in honour of Sir Cliff Richard how she got into the 67-year-old bachelor boy's bed.

She revealed her antic in front of the 400 guests present at the 50th Anniversary Tribute lunch at London's Dorchester Hotel, which was organised by the Variety Club.

"Yes, I've been under Cliff's navy blue duvet at his home," the Daily Express quoted her as saying.

The singer explained that she was determined to outdo a friend of hers who had been photographed in Cliff's bath.

"I thought I would go one better and climb into Cliff's bed," she said.

"I've still got the picture but I'd like you to know that I never took my shoes off!" she added.

Meanwhile, Cherie Blair also revealed how her son Euan had developed a fondness for the singer after watching Summer Holiday at the age of eight.

"He liked to sing the songs from the film and Cliff would join in the sing-song we had when he came around to us for Christmas parties, which thrilled Euan," Blair said.

"He has always been a very positive friend and was always there when times were difficult. We will always be grateful for that," she added.
