30 pc interim relief for newspaper employees from Jan 8

New Delhi, Oct 3 (UNI) The Union Cabinet today gave approval for notifying interim relief for working journalists and other newspaper employees at the rate of 30 per cent of the basic pay with effect from January 8, 2008.

This was announced by Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi after the Cabinet meeting, presided over by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
