TN Universities urged to start astrology courses

Tiruchirapalli, Oct 2 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu State Astrology Graduates and Post Graduates Association today urged Vice-Chancellors of various universities of the state to start Post-Graduate degree course in astrology.

Talking to mediapersons here, Association State President T Vimalan said a resolution to this effect was adopted at the first general council meeting held here.

Urging the universities to arrange various research programmes, seminars and workshops on astrology, he appealed to the Vice-Chancellor of Madurai Kamaraj University to restart the diploma course on astrology.

The meeting also authorised Association President and Publication Secretary to establish an exclusive website for the association.
