TDP making baseless allegations against Govt: Rosaiah
Hyderabad, Oct 2 (UNI) Andhra Prasdesh Finance Minister K Rosaiah today alleged that the opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N Chandrababu Naidu was making baseless allegations against the state government though it was functioning in a transparent manner.
Addressing a press conference here, he said Mr Naidu and other leaders of the TDP had started levelling allegations against the government soon after it assumed office in 2004.
He said though the government had taken up irrigation projects in a transparant manner with a view to providing irrigated water to remote areas, TDP leaders were levelling allegations against the government.
People would not believe the baseless allegations of the TDP leaders, he said adding that the government had gained confidence of the people by initiating welfare and development schemes during last four and half years.
