Prez exchanges Id-ul-Fitr greetings with people
New Delhi, Oct 2 (UNI) President Pratibha Devisingh Patil met a large number of people at Rashtrapati Bhavan here today and exchanged greetings on the occasion of Id-ul-Fitr.
Those who visited Rashtrapati Bhavan on this occasion included children and senior citizens.
The President said, ''This festival brings joy and happiness to all especially to those who have observed fasting during the holy month of Ramzan. This year's festival should inspire all of us to strengthen the principles of tolerance, friendship and mutual goodwill among our people and everyone should share their joy with the needy.''
