Melissa Etheridge set to marry lesbian lover Tammy Lynn Michaels

New York, Oct 2 : Popstar Melissa Etheridge is all set to marry lover Hollywood actress Tammy Lynn Michaels

Michaels, 33, gave birth to the couple's twins - son Miller Steven and daughter Johnnie Rose - in 2006 via an undisclosed sperm donor.

Etheridge is also mom to daughter Bailey Jean and son Beckett from a previous relationship with Julie Cypher. Crosby, Stills and Nash guitarist David Crosby fathered the children.

"We have four children and we're trying to find the right time," The New York Daily News quoted Etheridge.

The twosome, who entered into a civil partnership in 2003, plan to make things official now that gay marriage has been legalized in California.

"We are so grateful for the blessings from our friends and family as we commence our vows, and begin the rest of our lives together," the pair said in a statement after exchanging vows in 2003.
