Kerala remembers Gandhiji
Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 2 (UNI) Kerala today joined the nation in remembering Mahatma Gandhi on the 139th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation.
Prayer meetings, solidarity rallies and cleanliness campaigns marked the occasion.
A meeting was held at the Gandhi Park in the city, where people from all walks of life participated.
The Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee held prayer meetings at its headquarters here.
Various functions were organised across the state by the Gandhi fora.
