Corrupt contractors would be prosecuted if TDP comes to power: Naidu
Adilabad, Andhra Pradesh, Oct 2 (UNI) The opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N Chandrababu Naidu today said contractors and officials, who were indulging in corruption in the construction of Yellampalli Irrigation Project, would be prosecuted if his party was voted to power in the next elections in Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing gathering at the Irrigation Project site after launching the state-wide agitation at Manchiryala in the district against alleged 'rampant corruption' taking place during the Congress regime, he said the TDP would provide remunerative compensation for the people who lost their lands for the project if it came to power in the next elections.
