UP governor greets people on Gandhi Jayanti, Eid
Lucknow, Oct 1 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh governor T V Rajeswar has extended his heartiest greetings to people of the state on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, Eid and birth anniversary of late Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri.
The governor said ''ideals of Mahatma Gandhi are still relevant to the society and called the people to follow his path of 'ahimsa' and equality to maintain unity and integrity of the country.
He wished people the happy and prosperous Eid and said ''the joy of festival lies in sharing happiness with lesser-blessed or underpriviledged people.'' UNI PDM GT AS1531
