Temple stampede: Rahul Gandhi to visit Jodhpur

Jaipur, Oct 1 (UNI) Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi will visit Jodhpur to have first-hand information about the Chamunda Temple stampede, which left at least 147 people dead yesterday.

An official spokesman here said Mr Gandhi was scheduled to reach Jodhpur from New Delhi this afternoon.

He was expected to visit the Chamunda Mata Temple at the Meharangarh and hospitals where several injured were still being treated, the spokesman added.
