RSP employee dies in road accident.

Rourkela, Oct 1 (UNI) An employee of the Rourkela Steel Plant died on the spot and another was admitted to the Ispat General Hospital (IGH) after their motorbike was run over by a bus infront of the U K Bank in sector 19 today.

According to the police, Babulal Marandi (35)working in the Crane Maintenance Department of the RSP was run over while he was going towards the UK Bank with his colleague Arjun Patra.

While Mr Marandi died on the spot, his colleague was admitted to the IGH with minor injuries.

After the accident, an irate mob set fire to the bus and blocked the road. They, however, left after Rourkela SP Santosh Bala intervened.
