Rectified spirit worth Rs 6 lakh seized in TN
Kancheepuram, Oct 1 (UNI) Police today seized Rs six lakh worth rectified spirit from a van and arrested two persons in this regard here this morning.
Following a tip off, police conducted a vehicle check at Maakaral-Manal Medu, near here.
Police found 3,000 litre of rectified spirit in 80 cans inside at mini van.
The consignment was seized and the lorry impounded. Driver Babu (35) and Cleaner Raghu (30) were arrested, police said.
