P V Deshmukh assumes charge as HAL's MiG Complex MD

Bangalore, Oct 1 (UNI) Mr Prakash Vithalrao Deshmukh today took over as Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL)'s new Managing Director for MiG Complex (Nasik and Koraput Divisions) here.

Prior to taking over the new post, he was the General Manager (Su-30) in the MiG Complex and coordinated all activities associated with India's Su-30 MKI programme, a HAL press release said.

A metallurgical engineer from IIT Kharagpur, Mr Deshmukh joined HAL's Koraput Division as a Management Trainee (Technical) in December 1975.

He is a life member of Aeronautical Society of India and also the Secretary from India for the Indo-Russian Sub-group on Aviation (IRSA).
