Khachi appointed as new Chief Electoral Officer of HP

Shimla, Oct 1 (UNI) Mr Anil Kumar Khachi has been appointed as Chief Electoral Officer of Himachal Pradesh with immediate effect, according to a notification issued here today.

Mr Khachi, who is Secretary (Food, Civil Suplies and Consumer Affairs) and have additional Charge of Secretary (Techincal Education), replaces Mrs Manisha Nanda as Chief electoral Officer.

Mr Khachi will also function as secretary (Election) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
