ING Vysya ties up with e-seva of AP

Hyderabad, Oct 1: ING Vysya Life, part of the ING Group, on Wednesday, Oct 1 announced a tie-up with the e-Seva, the citizens services arm of Government of Andhra Pradesh, making it easier for customers to make insurance policy renewals through the e-seva outlets at no additional cost.

The current arrangement is being activated at 49 e-seva outlets in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. It will be subsequently rolled out in all the 249 locations across 85 towns in Andhra Pradesh. Announcing the launch, ING Vysya Life Chief Operating Officer B Ashwin said it was the first life insurance company to tie-up with e-seva to offer its customers an easy way to make renewals.

It would offer ING Vysya Life customers the convenience of renewal premium payment by cash and cheques at several locations across Andhra Pradesh wherein customers would be given a receipt of payment over the counter.

Speaking at the launch, Mr Suresh Chanda, Commissioner, EDS, Government of Andhra Pradesh said, ''eSeva at present, on average, serves more than one lakh citizens a day.

''A tie up between eSeva Centres spread over twin cities with much more improved convenience and comfort, will also help ING Life to provide improved services to its customers.
