HEXEL, SSH tie up for quality accreditation

Chennai, Oct 1 (UNI) Hexel Healthcare Consulting, a leading provider of comprehensive consultancy services for healthcare industry in India, today announced tie-up with Sonnenhof Swiss Health Limited (SSH) to provide quality accreditation to hospitals and healthcare institutions.

Under this joint venture, Hexel would adopt train-the-trainer approach and impart training to critical personnel of client's establishments and facilitate quality accreditation from Swiss Health.

''Analysts expect the industry to grow to 60 billion US Dollar by 2010 with over one lakh "Medical Tourists" visiting India every year.

''This creates a huge opportunity and need for quality accreditation of hospitals, if India aims to be seen as a pioneer in providing latest and high quality medical treatment at affordable cost,'' he said.

''With this association SSH aims to reach out and intensify its business operations in India,'' he added.
