Groundnutseed, oil, RBD Palm oil steady; nigerseed eases

Mumbai, Oct 1 (UNI) Prices of groundnutseed and its oil along with RBD palm oil remained steady today on scattered buying by stockists, while nigerseed eased amid lack of fresh demand, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In oilseeds (per quintal), nigerseed and seasameseed whitish fell by Rs 50 per quintal each, on poor offtake by stockists.

However, groundnutseed, javas 60/70 and javas 70/80 remained unchanged on moderate demand by stockists, traders said.

In oils (per 10 kg), sunflower exp, soyabean ref, rapeseed ref eased by Rs five each on sluggish demand by dealers.

Copra white and rapeseed exp declined by Rs 10 and Rs four respectively, amid lower buying support by bulk conumsers.

While, RBD palmoil and groundnut oil remained unchanged on scattered buying.

In de-oiled cakes undec cottonseed and sunflower extr slid by Rs 100 and Rs 150 per metric tonne respectively, on lack of fresh demand, traders added.
