Dry weather over Karnataka

Bangalore, Oct 1 (UNI) Following is a Summary of observations recorded by the weather office here at 0830 hrs today.

Dry weather prevailed over the State.

Maximum temperature changed little over the State. They were above normal at most places appreciably so at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka; above normal at most places over North Interior Karnataka. Bellary recorded 34.3 deg.

Cel. over the State.

Minimum temperatures changed little over the State. They were appreciably below normal at a few places over North Interior Karnataka; below normal at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and were normal over Coastal Karnataka. Chamarajanagar recorded lowest mininmum temperature of 17.0 deg. Celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Friday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather may prevail over the North Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over all the districts of the Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather may prevail over all the districts of North Interior Karnataka.
