Cuban team visits elephant care centre
Thrissur, Kerala, Oct 1 (UNI) A Cuban team today visited ''Punnathur Kotta,'' the elephant protection centre of the Guruvayoor Devaswom.
The team visited Guruvayoor and Thrissur as part of their campaign for the release of five Cuban nationals in US jail on charges of espionage,conspiracy to commit murder and other illegal activitities.
The visiting team led by Rosa Aurora Fireijanes and Nuris Pinero was given a hearty reception in Thrissur by the Left parties and other sympathetic groups.
