Bomb threat at St Michel PU College turns out to be hoax

Hubli, Oct 1 (UNI) Tension prevailed for some time at St Michel PU College in the city following a bomb threat call which forced Teachers and students run berserk and come out of the building.

However, the bomb threat turned out to be a hoax after police, with the help of dog squad, searched the building thoroughly.

The threat call sent shock waves in the city where three live bombs were recovered on Hubli-Dharwad road recently.

The police rushed to the spot with snifter dog squad only find nothing. The inmates heaved a sigh of relief after the police gave assurance that there was no bomb inside the campus.

The police said that some miscreants might have made threat call from a Public booth.
