Badal extends greetings on Gandhi Jayanti
Chandigarh, Oct 1 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today extended his greetings to all the Punjabis living in the country and abroad on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
In a message on the eve of the Gandhi Jayanti, Mr Badal said, ''Gandhi Jayanti is an occasion for all of us to rededicate ourselves to the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi on peace and non-violence''.
''Let us all join to pay homage to the Father of the Nation and work towards making our country stronger with equal rights to its citizens,'' said Mr Badal.
