Atlanta JV with ARSS bags Rs 72.06 cr contract from railways

New Delhi, Oct 1 (UNI) Atlanta Ltd, a construction major, today announced that its joint venture with ARSS has received a contract worth Rs 72.06 crore from the Southern Railway.

The contract is for conversion of railway gauge from Tirunelveli to Tenkasi in Quilon, and joins Tiruchendur and Virudhunagar.

The project involves the proposed Earthwork in forming bank, cutting, construction of major and minor bridges, construction of platforms, station buildings, passenger amenities, platform shelters, improvements to level crossings, providing lifting barriers and other miscellaneous works between Tirunelveli and Tenkasi Junction Stations.
