Army School students take out 'Communal Harmony Rally'

Ahmedabad, Oct 1 (UNI) At least 200 students of the Army School here today took out a ''Communal Harmony Rally'' to commemorate Diamond Jubilee of the National Defence Academy.

The students marched from the school to Sardar Patel Memorial, Shahibaug, and also performed street plays near the Memorial Hall, highlighting the need for harmony and peace, sources said.

A painting exhibition was also organised at the school on the occasion, where selected paintings of children from Army Schools from Bhuj, Dhrangadhra, and various Kendriya Vidhyalayas of Gujarat were exhibited. The paintings depicted the role of Indian Army in society.
