3 killed and 2 injured in Kozhikode road accident
Kozhikode, Oct 1: Three people were killed and two seriously injured when the Tata Sumo in which they were travelling collided head-on with a truck at Pookad in this district early on Wednesday, Oct 1.
The car from Paravoor in Ernakulam district was proceeding to Peravoor in neighbouring Kannur district, when the accident occurred, police said.
The deceased were identified as Kumari Devi (42), Mariyam (55) and Reena (60).
The injured were admitted to a nearby hospital, police added.
