14 injured in three bomb blasts in Tripura
Agartala, Oct 01 (UNI) At least 14 people were injured, four of them seriously, in simultaneous bomb blasts in three different areas in Tripura today.
DIG (Police Operations) Nepal Das here said the blasts took place at around 1945 hours in the main market area of Maharajgunj in the heart of the capital town, Radhanagar bus stand and tribal-dominated Abhaynagar in the outskirts of the capital.
All the four critically injured were from Maharajgunj area, he added.
Mr Das stated that the persons behind the blasts were yet to be identified.
Police had cordoned off all the areas as panic had gripped people following the blasts.
Details were awaited.
