Utkal, Phalaknama Express to ply on orginal routes from tomorrow

Bilaspur, Sep 30 (UNI) The Puri-Haridwar Kalinga Utkal Express and the Howrah-Sikandrabad Phalaknama Express would ply on its original route from October 1.

A South Eastern Central Railway spokesperson said the 8477:8478 Utkal Express was plying from diverted route Jharsugda, Sambalpur Angul, Cuttack route since the past three-and-half months as rail bridge had been damaged at the Khadagpur-Bhadrak section in West Bengal and Orissa due to heavy rains .

The 2703:2704 Howrah-Sikandrabad Phalaknama Express has also been plying on diverted route due to heavy rains in these states.
