Two killed, 28 injured in separate accident in Kashmir
Srinagar, Sep 30 (UNI) A five-year-old boy and a woman were killed and 28 people were injured in two separate road accidents in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said today.
They said a scooter hit and injured a woman at Herpora in south Kashmir causing her serious injuries. She was rushed to hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
Five-year-old Saqib Manzoor was hit and wounded critically by vehicle at Damhal Hanjipora. He later died on way to hospital.
They said 22 passengers were injured when a bus, in which they were travelling from Srinagar to Baramulla collided with a tipper at Trumbgun on the highway. The injured were admitted to different hospitals for treatment.
Sources said a tipper hit a vehicle at Baramulla, resulting in injuries to six passengers. The injured were hospitlised.
