Security forces launch search operation in Poonch

Jammu, Sep 30 (UNI) Security forces today launched a search operation on specific information in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, sources here said.

''On receiving information about the presence of six militants, including three of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) and three of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT), in Sawlah area of tehsil Mendhar, a joint operation was launched by the Special Operation Group, 38 Rashtriya Rifles,'' sources told UNI.

However, no arrest has been made so far and search has been intensified in the area to track down the militants in the area, they said.
