FreeAgent external drives from Seagate

New Delhi, Sep 30: Seagate, a leading storage solution provider, announced the launch of a new line of FreeAgent external hard drives, with price starting at Rs 5,500. ''As more and more people get hooked to create content and share data, there is also a surge in demand for storage devices.

Looking at this increase, we are launching this series here, which is sleek and also pocket-friendly,'' company Country Manager (India and SAARC) Rajesh Khurana told reporters here. The FreeAgent Series will be available in four versions--Go Drive and Desk Drive (a separate one for Mac users), Dock and Case, and Xtreme Drive.

Available in 250GB, 320GB and 500GB range, the drives are probably the world's thinnest at 2.5-inches.
