Precious metals glitter on bullish advice
Mumbai, Sep 30: The upward trend in the precious metals continued for the third successive day on Tuesday, Sep 30 with silver rising by Rs 25 per kg and gold by Rs 330 per ten gm in the opening session, on brisk buying support from jewellery-makers in view of encouraging global advices, traders in the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said.
In the international market too, a positive sentiment was seen as gold was recorded at USD 898.00/898.50 per ounce (USD 882.00/882.50), while silver was at USD 13.40/13.41 an ounce (USD 13.38/13.39). Following were the opening domestic spot rates: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade: Rs 21,210 Gold (per 10 gm): 99.5 purity standard mint: Rs 13,490 99.9 purity pure gold: Rs 13,545.
