New Logan collection from Mahindra

New Delhi, Sep 30: On Tuesday, Sep 30 in a move to further consolidate its position in the A3 segment, Mahindra Renault Ltd launched the 'New Collection Logan' at Rs 5.08 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

''We have 12 per cent market share in the C segment and the new launch is aimed at further consolidating our positon in the segment,'' Mahindra Renault CEO Nalin Mehta said while talking to reporters in the capital. The retail sales of Logan has increased by 35 per cent compared to last year and with the launch of the new edition, the company will replace the existing Logan range across the country, he said.

The 'New Collection Logan' will be available in two colours-Rocky Beige and Java Brown.

The company will also manufacture 100 more units of its limited edition 'Logan Edge' to fulfill the futher the demands of the customers.

However, the company had decided to manufacture just 500 units of the car.

Describing about the company's dealership expansion plan, Mr Mehta said,''We plan to have 145-148 dealers across 135 cities in the country,'' without giving any specific timeframe for it.

The company had significantly increased its dealership presence from 94 dealers to 105 spread across 85 cities.
