Mah CM urges Venice to co-operate in port development
Mumbai, Sep 30 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh has asked authorities in Venice to cooperate in development of ports in the state, having a 720 km long coastline.
Mr Deshmukh, who met Economic Development Research Minister of Vheneto Region Vendeniano Sartor yesterday, said there were ample investment opportunities for infrastructure, housing and transport sectors in Maharashtra.
The CM informed Mr Sartor that during the last three and half years, due to mega project policy, MoUs hs been signed with world-renowned companies. Minister of Vheneto Region said investment in Maharashtra would be considered, according to an official release here today.
